Mennonite
Central Committee
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches, shares God's love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. MCC envisions communities worldwide in right relationship with God, one another and creation. MCC works in 60 countries worldwide in areas of relief, development and peace.
Relief
MCC strives to meet urgent needs in areas torn by disaster or war and to reach out to people forced to flee from their homes. Mennonite Central Committee provides food aid such as relief kits and blankets in the days or weeks following a disaster and continues to partner with churches, organizations and communities for months or even years.
Development
MCC works alongside local partners and communities to seek long-term solutions to poverty, hunger and poor health. This includes projects to ensure access to sufficient food, clean water, and quality education and to respond to the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Peace
Justice and peacebuilding are at the heart of MCC’s mission. MCC workers and projects support people around the world building peace often at great risk to their own lives. To learn more about the international work that MCC does or how you can get involves or contribute visit The MCC Website
